Van Beaken is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Heart Of A Champion. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

It looks like Red Rum has been cut.
Rum looks to land a right hand but Van Beaken moved out of range.
Van Beaken pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Van Beaken tries a head kick but it misses.
Van Beaken throws a sloppy head kick and Rum moves out of range easily.
Van Beaken walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Van Beaken tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rum lands an overhand right.
Gregory Van Beaken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rum thows a left - swing and a miss!
Van Beaken lands a head kick. Rum smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Van Beaken dodges the punch combination from Rum.
Rum lands a jab.

Van Beaken on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Van Beaken swings for the body but Rum moves out of range.
Rum avoids the head kick by Van Beaken.
Van Beaken looks gassed!
Van Beaken looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Rum lands a brutal head kick. Van Beaken looks out on his feet and Rum throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
