The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
STYLE shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cote as he jumps to the side.
Oooh a lovely combination from Cote sends STYLE down but not out. Cote dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like BIG STYLE has been cut.

Cote decides to stand up, so the ref orders STYLE to his feet.
Decent striking displayed by Cote there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from STYLE.
Cote connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

STYLE looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

STYLE lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cote wants to get back to full guard.
STYLE has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cote is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Cote has one foot on STYLE's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Cote lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Cote throws a wild body kick that STYLE sees coming a mile off.
STYLE fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Cote cracks a nice hook into STYLE's ribs.
STYLE throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cote's waist but Cote gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing STYLE off to one side.
STYLE shoots in but Cote avoids the takedown attempt easily.
STYLE dodges the punch combination from Cote.

STYLE changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cote looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

STYLE is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cote knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

STYLE has an Americana. Cote didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! STYLE is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if STYLE hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
