The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoiles pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hoiles leaves Silvva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silvva shoots in for a double leg but Hoiles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hoiles moves into the clinch successfully.
Silvva tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Hoiles dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Silvva. That did some damage!
Silvva wants to clinch but Hoiles slips to the side
and Hoiles counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
