Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Morozov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morozov lands with a slapping head kick.
Morozov tries for a takedown but White sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
White misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
White tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morozov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
White is looking to clinch but Morozov is avoiding it.
Morozov throws a head kick that half lands.
White keeps the fight on the outside.
White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Morozov counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Morozov wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.
White wants to stand and escape but Morozov is having none of it.
Morozov passes White's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Morozov stops White from getting back to his feet.

Morozov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and White defends it well.

White is trying to stand up here but Morozov is controlling him well.

Morozov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Morozov has hold of White's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! White tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Morozov cranks the arm and White screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from White, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
