Smirnoz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Russian. David Scott looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnoz tries for a takedown but Scott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Scott shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Scott showed some decent athleticism there.

Smirnoz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Scott swats him away and circles back towards the center.
