Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Rice!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rice throws a head kick that misses.
Rice misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rice tries a head kick but it misses.
Sephiroth blocks a head kick by Rice.
Sephiroth misses with an uppercut.
Rice pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Eric Rice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sephiroth tries to clinch up but Rice circles away and keeps his distance.
Sephiroth misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rice.
Rice looks for a takedown but Sephiroth sprawls well.
Sephiroth lands a nice hook to Rice's body. Rice takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rice looks gassed!
Sephiroth throws a series of punches but Rice avoids them all with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick misses from Rice.
Rice tries a head kick but it misses.
Rice shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sephiroth as he avoids it easily.
Sephiroth scores with a shot to the body.
Sephiroth connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rice. Rice circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Eric Rice has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A jab from Sephiroth does it's job there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rice tries a head kick but it misses.
Sephiroth cracks Rice with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sephiroth has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rice to stand back up!
Sephiroth fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rice looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A left lands for Sephiroth.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sephiroth sends Rice crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sephiroth is motioning to the referee to let Rice up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Rice is rocked!
Sephiroth sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Rice's defenses. It connects perfectly with Rice's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zidane Sephiroth!
