Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Silakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Silakka will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose darts in and clinches Silakka up against the cage.
Silakka is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rose is defending well for now.
Rose drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Silakka stops a takedown attempt from Rose.
Silakka tries to break free but Rose pushes him back against the cage.
Silakka has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rose has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Silakka avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Rose. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silakka wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rose has him pressed against the cage.
Rose is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Silakka pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Silakka tries to land knees in the clinch but Rose avoids the damage to the body.
Rose keeps control of Silakka as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rose drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Silakka gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rose tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Silakka misses with an elbow strike.
Silakka tries a knee to the head but Rose blocks it.
Silakka connects with a nasty looking knee right to Rose's face.
Silakka is looking to break free of the clinch but Rose has double underhooks.
Rose avoids a wild elbow strike from Silakka.

Silakka gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Silakka is trying to break the clinch but Rose is controlling him.

Rose has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silakka is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rose manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Rose lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Silakka!

Silakka swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Rose postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Silakka looks a forlorn figure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rose wants to control the pace but Silakka is squirming around nicely.

Rose is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Silakka is surviving well by controlling Rose's body position as best he can.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rose cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Rose is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silakka can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Silakka has left one of his arms exposed and Rose doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Silakka screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
