Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Zombie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crock O Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

O Doyle scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like John Zombie has been cut.
John Zombie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping leg kick lands for Zombie.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zombie is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Zombie is looking to take a break and control but O Doyle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

O Doyle wants to get back to his feet but Zombie drags him back down.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Zombie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around O Doyle's waist but O Doyle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zombie off to one side.
O Doyle lands a jab.

O Doyle lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Zombie backs up against the cage.
Zombie tries to close the distance and clinch up but O Doyle swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Zombie shoots for a double leg takedown but O Doyle sprawls well. He's pushed Zombie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

O Doyle slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and O Doyle counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Zombie is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
O Doyle connects with a stiff jab that staggers Zombie - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
