Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardinho Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardinho Gabriel!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gabriel manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Gabriel has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.
Gabriel manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gabriel tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Gabriel is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Silva wants to hold on but Gabriel pushes him away.

Gabriel sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Gabriel stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Silva scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Gabriel is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Silva off and has taken his back!
Gabriel is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Silva won't enjoy being in this position. Gabriel looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Silva is tapping - it's over boys! Gabriel picks up the submission victory!
