The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Springs lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Davi Rodriguez has been cut.
Springs scores with a jab to the head.

Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Springs napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rodriguez is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rodriguez tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Rodriguez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Springs lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Rodriguez is looking to close the distance but Springs sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Rodriguez crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Rodriguez is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
