The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Balmuda as Fenomeno shoots in.
Fenomeno shoots for a takedown but Balmuda saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fenomeno will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronaldo Fenomeno. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Balmuda avoids the body shot from Fenomeno.
Balmuda tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fenomeno swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fenomeno shoots in looking for a takedown. Balmuda tries to sprawl out of it but Fenomeno keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Balmuda manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fenomeno fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Balmuda sprawls well initially but Fenomeno persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Balmuda is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Fenomeno is tapping! Great win for Balmuda!
