The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Calzaghe closes the distance and clinches.

Calzaghe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rogan throws a right and a left that Calzaghe avoids nicely.

Some bone on bone action there as Calzaghe checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Joe Rogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
