Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Vinicius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Fleming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinicius comes to the cage accompanied by Bulls On Parade. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paulo Vinicius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rich Fleming!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fleming listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Vinicius fails with a takedown attempt.
Fleming misses with a kick to the body.

Fleming gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vinicius with a flurry of punches that miss.
Vinicius postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fleming can do anything to dispel that myth.
Vinicius advances position into side control!

Vinicius working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Vinicius looks up at the clock and then as Fleming takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Vinicius smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Vinicius working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Vinicius is putting a hurting on Fleming here, landing some big shots from side control.

Fleming tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vinicius wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Vinicius grinds an elbow into Fleming's temple.
Vinicius cracks Fleming with a big elbow.
Vinicius throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Fleming is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
You can see the frustration on Fleming's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Vinicius is breathing heavily.

Vinicius tries for a kimura but Fleming is defending well.
Who's going to make the next move?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fleming is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vinicius has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Fleming is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fleming is trying to improve his position.

Vinicius decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Fleming throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vinicius really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vinicius has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Paulo Vinicius has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fleming, as that shot connected.
Vinicius shoots for a double leg takedown but Fleming sprawls well. He's pushed Vinicius's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fleming cracks Vinicius with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Vinicius shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fleming swinging wilding here.
Fleming connects with a right hand. Vinicius shakes it off.
Vinicius blocks the body kick.
Fleming connects with a single shot there.
Fleming lands with a nice combination. Vinicius backs away looking to recover.
Fleming looks to land a combination. Vinicius sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Fleming lands a two punch combo.

Vinicius is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fleming thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vinicius if he has to take too many more of those.
Oh Vinicius is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fleming drops Vinicius with a straight right hand, right on the button! Fleming follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
