Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maik Murmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murmann comes to the cage accompanied by Nur ein Wort. The key to victory for Maik Murmann has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Maik Murmann has been cut.
Nice takedown defense from Miller. No joy for Murmann on that attempt.
Miller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Miller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Murmann was covering up waiting for the punch and Miller finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Murmann is rocked!
Murmann is breathing heavily.
Miller is in close to Murmann's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Oh Murmann is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Murmann seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Murmann takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Miller passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Murmann!
Murmann is looking to get to half guard.
Miller controlling the position easily from mount.

Murmann is trying to escape the mount.

Miller is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Murmann can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murmann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Murmann could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Miller's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Murmann tries to reverse the position but Miller maintains control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

I looks like Miller might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Murmann wants to hold on but Miller pushes him away.

Murmann has left one of his arms exposed and Miller doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Murmann screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
