Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bobby McGrath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kwame Moto!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A head kick lands from Moto that sends McGrath to the canvas. McGrath tries to scramble back to his feet but Moto brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Bobby McGrath has been cut.
McGrath avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Moto.
Moto misses with the ground and pound.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
McGrath has one of Moto's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Moto looks up at the clock and then as McGrath takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Moto smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Moto working the strikes but McGrath uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Moto seems to be looking for submissions.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Moto connects with a nice short shot to McGrath's temple.

McGrath is trying to control but can't.
Moto wants to advance to full mount but McGrath doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

McGrath is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Moto throws and elbow that misses. McGrath uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Moto's guard. Nice move by McGrath!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Moto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McGrath.
McGrath shoots in and drives through. Moto sprawls well.
Moto is looking to clinch but McGrath is avoiding it.
Moto listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Moto leaves McGrath with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby McGrath. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moto thows a body kick. McGrath tries to catch it but that hurt him.
McGrath is breathing heavily.
McGrath throws a head kick that misses.
Moto lands a nice hook to McGrath's body. McGrath takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Both fighters circling a little - Moto finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Moto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McGrath looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Moto controls the position.
McGrath takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
McGrath is trying to escape the position but Moto is controlling the position.
Moto in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
A lull in the action here as Moto stalls from top position.
McGrath is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moto is looking to take a break and control but McGrath is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McGrath moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Moto connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Oh McGrath is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Moto feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending McGrath crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
