Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge threesixfive (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stelios Nicosiou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicosiou has chosen Shit it down as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicosiou showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from threesixfive.
threesixfive looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
threesixfive takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nicosiou throws a left and a right that both miss
and threesixfive counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by threesixfive.

threesixfive trying to control the position from guard on top but Nicosiou is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nicosiou is looking for a triangle but threesixfive pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
threesixfive won't allow Nicosiou to sweep him here.
threesixfive works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Nicosiou has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. threesixfive is working away from the top position though.

threesixfive seems to be working for a kimura but Nicosiou defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nicosiou gets full guard.
Nicosiou had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. threesixfive is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nicosiou Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take threesixfive's back instead.
Nicosiou is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

threesixfive is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Nicosiou is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Nicosiou doesn't have the hooks in and threesixfive manages to turn into his guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
