Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Rieger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Marlin!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rieger misses with a head kick.

Marlin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Marlin tries to lock up and control but Rieger gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Marlin reaches up and holds on to Rieger to control the position.
Rieger misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Rieger can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Marlin is looking to escape.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Marlin looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marlin keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Rieger looks to land a strike but Marlin avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Marlin shoots in and bounces Rieger off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Brian Marlin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rieger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close second round but I would say that Paul Rieger will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

I think Marlin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
