Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aliksandr Kowaljow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kowaljow comes to the cage accompanied by Moskau. Aliksandr Kowaljow looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowaljow avoids the head kick by Kozlov.
Kozlov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kowaljow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kozlov somewhat.
Alexander Kozlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kozlov fails with a takedown attempt.
Kozlov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kozlov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kowaljow lands a left and a right that send Kozlov crashing to the mat, dazed. Kowaljow thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Kozlov is rocked!
It looks like Alexander Kozlov has been cut.
Kowaljow finds Kozlov's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Kozlov flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Kowaljow lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Kozlov will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aliksandr Kowaljow!
