Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Corcoran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corcoran misses with a double jab.
Corcoran rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Corcoran throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Corcoran throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silva should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Corcoran misses with a double jab.
Corcoran lands a body shot.
Corcoran thuds his right hand into Silva's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Corcoran keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Corcoran bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Corcoran is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Silva feints and as Corcoran raises his hands in defense, Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Corcoran wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Corcoran has Silva pulled in close to control his posture.

Corcoran is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Silva tries to pull guard but Corcoran won't allow it.

Silva tries for a takedown but Corcoran sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Corcoran bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Silva's head backwards.
Corcoran fails to land with a series of punches.
Corcoran throws a right and a left that both miss.
Corcoran keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Corcoran swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.

Corcoran shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Corcoran looks to land a combination. Silva sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Corcoran misses with a double jab.
Corcoran lands with a nice body punch.
Silva looks gassed!
A telegraphed right hand from Corcoran misses the target.

Silva looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Corcoran is controlling Silva's posture.
Corcoran looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Corcoran has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Corcoran looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Corcoran is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea.
Silva thows a big elbow that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Silva moves in looking to clinch but Corcoran pushes him off.

Silva moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Corcoran scores with a shot to the body.
Corcoran is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva.
Corcoran jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Corcoran.
Corcoran looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.

Silva doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Corcoran fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Silva.

Corcoran keeps Silva under control for a moment.
Corcoran wants to get back to his feet but Silva drags him back down.

Corcoran bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Corcoran shows good takedown defense.
Corcoran leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Corcoran throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.

Corcoran wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A lazy left from Corcoran finds it's target.
Corcoran missing with a left hand there. Silva was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Corcoran connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Silva's hands.
The fighters circling - Corcoran throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Corcoran lands a left and a right that send Silva crashing to the mat, dazed. Corcoran thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Silva is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva shoots in but no luck this time.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Corcoran finish him?
James Corcoran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Javier Silva.

Corcoran waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Silva. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Silva to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Silva has his foot on Corcoran's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Corcoran works his way back into a safe position though.

Corcoran drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Corcoran off! Corcoran jumps back into Silva's guard.
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.

Corcoran decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Corcoran lands with a big left! Silva is wobbled badly! Corcoran comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Silva to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
