Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fumando Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Blake Stevenson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fumando Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez shoots in and bounces Stevenson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Stevenson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sanchez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Stevenson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sanchez's back instead.
Sanchez trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Sanchez covers up after that shot from Stevenson.
Stevenson doesn't have the hooks in and Sanchez manages to turn into his guard.
Stevenson can't keep his opponent in guard - Sanchez advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Sanchez is just content to waste time from the top position. Stevenson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stevenson keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully.
Sanchez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Sanchez wants to control from the top but Stevenson keeps moving.
Sanchez's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Sanchez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sanchez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Stevenson can't do much from the bottom here.

Sanchez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The strikes coming from Sanchez are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Sanchez has an Americana. Stevenson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sanchez is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sanchez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
