Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Van Arson!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arson fails with the takedown.
Arson shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Arson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johnson avoids it really well and circles away.
Bob Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Van Arson.

Arson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johnson walks away with a smile on his face. Arson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Arson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes.
Arson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches.

Arson is trying to drag Johnson to the mat but Johnson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Johnson breaks the clinch.

Arson cracks Johnson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Arson fails with a takedown attempt.
Johnson looks to land a right hand but Arson moved out of range.
Johnson throws a hook but Arson blocks it.
Johnson stuffs the takedown.
Arson misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Arson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Johnson rather than just go for the knockout.

Arson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Johnson manages to avoid it.

Johnson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Arson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Arson wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position.
Johnson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Arson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Johnson wants to control but Arson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Johnson pushes Arson off looking to stand but Arson dives back in and keeps control.

Johnson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Arson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson wants to sweep here but Arson controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Arson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Johnson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Arson has Johnson in his guard.

Johnson stands up from guard. Let's bang!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Van Arson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Arson swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Arson.

Bob Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Johnson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet.

Arson shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Arson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Johnson connects with a superb combination that knocks Arson out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Johnson before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Arson!
