Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Rood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rood has chosen Enter Sandman, by Metallica as his entrance music. Brad Rood is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Rood!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rood feints and then cracks Rogers's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rogers down.
Rood lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rogers circles away quickly and effectively.
Rood swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rogers.

It looks like Johnny Rogers has been cut.

Rogers has left one of his arms exposed and Rood doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Rogers screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
