Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mic Mic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arjay Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Feel the Rush kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Arjay Murphy has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Murphy throws a jab but it's blocked by Mic.

Mic clinches up with Murphy and pushes him back against the cage.
Murphy on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Mic prevents Murphy from breaking the clinch.
Murphy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Murphy misses with a hook from the clinch.

Mic manages to break the clinch.
Murphy throws a jab when Mic was well out of range.
Murphy waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Mic.
Mic fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Mic closes the distance and clinches.
Mic blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mic lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Murphy.

Mic manages to break the clinch.
Murphy misses with an uppercut.
Mic staying out of range there.
Murphy throws an overhand right that lands on Mic's shoulder, as Mic tries to avoid the shot.
Murphy throws out a loose jab but Mic uses good head movement to avoid it.

Mic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Murphy, pushing him back against the cage.

Mic works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Mic thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mic trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Murphy throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Mic won't allow Murphy to get back to his feet.
Mic landing some decent shots from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mic is stalling in the full guard.
Mic prevents Murphy from getting back to his feet.

Murphy working for a triangle but Mic defends it easily.
Murphy looks gassed!
Mic sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Mic advances position into side control!
Murphy tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Mic looking to control but Murphy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Mic working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Murphy is looking to improve his position but Mic isn't that keen on the idea.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Murphy is trying to stand up.

Mic moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Murphy has worked his arm free - good work by Murphy!
Murphy is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mic asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Murphy is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mic Mic dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mic Mic's cut.
That's time! Mic's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mic scores with a head kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Mic.
Murphy looks to throw the jab but Mic is out of range.
Mic uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Murphy.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mic.
Arjay Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murphy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Murphy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Mic looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Murphy!

Mic has hold of Murphy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Murphy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Murphy tries to hold on but Mic postures up.
Mic controlling his opponent.

Murphy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Murphy throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Murphy is trying to stand.
Murphy has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Mic lands a shot to the body.
Murphy looking very determined here, making life difficult for Mic.
Murphy is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mic lands punches and elbows.
Murphy trying to get back to his feet but Mic is in full control for now.
Mic is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Murphy wants to get back to his feet.

Mic is working for a rear naked choke. Murphy is not defending it well and Mic has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Murphy refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Murphy's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
