The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales misses with a double jab.

Maldi dives in and grabs Morales's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morales pushes down on Maldi's head and hops out.
Morales swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Erik Morales is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Morales lands with a big left! Maldi is wobbled badly! Morales comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Maldi to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
