Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between GC Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Pomfrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pomfrey fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bean, pushing him back against the cage.
Pomfrey gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bean.
Pomfrey prevents Bean from breaking the clinch.
Bean is stalling here.

Bean jumps into guard, dragging Pomfrey to the mat.
Pomfrey looking to pass the guard.

Pomfrey is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Pomfrey drops back looking for a leg! Bean is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bean manages to kick Pomfrey off! Pomfrey jumps back into Bean's guard.
Bean wants to stand but Pomfrey is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Pomfrey moves away from the strike by Bean.
Bean keeps the fight on the outside.
Bean looks to land a combination but Pomfrey avoids it well.

Pomfrey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Pomfrey swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
