Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between boni apu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Parrado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). boni apu is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parrado closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Parrado seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

apu is trying to trip Parrado. He has hold of a leg but Parrado is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. apu persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

apu has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Parrado pushes apu off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Nice takedown defense from apu. No joy for Parrado on that attempt.
Parrado is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

apu is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Parrado can't fight it off and eventually apu manages to take the fight to the floor. Parrado looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Parrado escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. apu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
apu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parrado swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Parrado goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

apu has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Parrado regains guard immediately.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

apu is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
apu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Parrado is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Parrado is trying to drag apu to the mat but apu just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
apu looking for a takedown.
Parrado scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Parrado throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but apu blocks it with crossed arms.
apu drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Parrado tries to throw a body punch but apu avoids it by throwing Parrado back against the cage.
apu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

apu has Parrado pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parrado manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
