Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maynard comes to the ring accompanied by thunderstruck. The key to victory for Brad Maynard has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tank displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Maynard.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tank.
Maynard shoots and misses
and Tank counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Tank trying to stand up but can't free himself from Maynard's guard.
Tank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maynard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Maynard throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Maynard manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tank manages to get himself to full guard.
Maynard throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tank works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Maynard works over Tank with some ground and pound from guard.
Maynard is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Tank working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maynard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maynard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Tank looks gassed!
Maynard drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Maynard seems to have locked his on tight now - Tank screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Maynard, as he picks up the win!
