Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between jose aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nishio Hiotaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jose aldo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, jose aldo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nishio Hiotaki!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
aldo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hiotaki throws a head kick but aldo moves out of range.
Hiotaki scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
aldo tries to clinch up but Hiotaki circles away and keeps his distance.
Hiotaki goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

aldo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
aldo lands a left hand.
Hiotaki is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
aldo can't get the takedown.
Hiotaki fails to pull guard.
Hiotaki tries to land knees in the clinch but aldo avoids the damage to the body.
Hiotaki wants to get back to striking at distance but aldo won't allow it.
aldo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hiotaki has him pressed against the cage.
aldo landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
aldo crunches a lovely knee into Hiotaki's ribcage.
aldo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hiotaki pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hiotaki wants to get back to striking at distance but aldo won't allow it.
Hiotaki tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. aldo just stands there and leans against the cage.
aldo lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hiotaki has aldo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. aldo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
jose aldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nishio Hiotaki.
Hiotaki tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. aldo smiles and moves away.
Hiotaki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
aldo lands a high kick!
Hiotaki keeps the fight on the outside.
Hiotaki scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Hiotaki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. aldo was covering up waiting for the punch and Hiotaki finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hiotaki lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hiotaki stands and throws aldo's legs to the side, diving into side control.
aldo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hiotaki on the ground.
aldo bucks up and tries to throw Hiotaki off but instead Hiotaki has got his back!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hiotaki cracks aldo with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing aldo from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
aldo rolls, trying to escape but Hiotaki keeps control of the position.

Hiotaki is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but aldo won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Hiotaki off his unconscious opponent!
