Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Grove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and Gomez counters with a single leg into guard. Grove didn't expect that.

Grove has momentary wrist control but Gomez slips an elbow through the middle.

Gomez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grove has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gomez has managed to get both his arms back between Grove's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Grove is looking to sinch up a triangle. Gomez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Grove's body to avoid the submission. Grove has instead reached around Gomez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Grove arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
