Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Seed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stu Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill wants to clinch.

Hill has Seed up against the cage in a clinch.
Seed fails to pull guard.

Seed takes the fight into the clinch.
Hill tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Seed's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hill cracks Seed with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Seed wants to control but Hill is having none of it.

Hill is going olschool here, as he tries to force Seed to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Seed shrugs it off.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Seed knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hill on the ground.

Hill sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hill tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Seed breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

A close round but Stu Hill will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hill shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Seed sprawls well. Seed wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hill gets slowly back to his feet.

Seed bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Seed is looking to take a break and control but Hill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ground and pound from Seed seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Seed decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Hill swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Seed counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Hill tries for a takedown but Seed circles away easily
and Seed counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Seed thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hill if he has to take too many more of those.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hill shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hill was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Hill is looking to sinch up a triangle. Seed throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hill's body to avoid the submission. Hill has instead reached around Seed's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hill arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
