The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seljo looks for a takedown but Boudewijn sprawls well.
Nice takedown defense from Boudewijn. No joy for Seljo on that attempt.
Boudewijn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A head kick from Boudewijn lands but Seljo takes it in his stride.
Seljo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Xander Boudewijn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaki Seljo.

Seljo gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boudewijn tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Seljo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Boudewijn lands with a nice combination. Seljo backs away looking to recover.
Seljo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Boudewijn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Seljo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Seljo tries for a takedown but Boudewijn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Boudewijn throws a right hand that Seljo ducks under and follows up with a left that Seljo also avoids with ease.
Seljo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Seljo looks gassed!
Crunch! Boudewijn slams his shin into Seljo's torso.
Seljo tries for a takedown but Boudewijn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Boudewijn throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Seljo.

Seljo is rocked!
Boudewijn lands a hook that stumbles Seljo back into the cage. Boudewijn follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Seljo to the canvas! Boudewijn pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Seljo has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
