Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Noah Burn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Demetriou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noah Burn could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Demetriou's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Demetriou closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Burn did well to prevent Demetriou getting side control.

Burn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Demetriou gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Burn regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Demetriou.
Demetriou is looking to stand up but Burn won't let him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Burn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Demetriou is aware though and is defending well.

Burn throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Demetriou escapes and throws Burn's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The referee asks Demetriou politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Demetriou prefers to stall for the moment though.
Demetriou misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Demetriou is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Burn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Burn gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
