PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damien Tyrrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roy has chosen I'm Too Sexy as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy shoots in and drives through. Tyrrell sprawls well.
Roy shoots in but Tyrrell avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tyrrell drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Roy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roy regains full guard. Nicely done.

Roy has his foot on Tyrrell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tyrrell works his way back into a safe position though.

Tyrrell is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Roy has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Tyrrell doesn't defend quickly enough and Roy has managed to lock this one up! Can Tyrrell escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Roy on a fantastic submission victory.
