The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puska misses with a takedown attempt - Ramirez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ramirez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Puska uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ramirez.
Ramirez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ramirez throws a chopping leg kick but Puska manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ramirez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A nice combination there by Ramirez.
No joy there for Ramirez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ramirez looks to land a combination but Puska avoids it well.
Puska showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ramirez.
Ramirez is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Danny Ramirez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramirez leaves Puska with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
