PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lalli Kuutamo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piemel van Ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuutamo comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Company. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van Ass throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
van Ass jabbing away but nothing is landing.
van Ass throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kuutamo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kuutamo is working van Ass over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Kuutamo stands up over van Ass, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
van Ass can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kuutamo is looking to escape.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kuutamo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
van Ass parries the strikes from Kuutamo easily there. Kuutamo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable van Ass to escape.
