The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Hornsby throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hornsby slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Stephan Bonnar has been cut.
Hornsby misses with an uppercut. Bonnar saw that one coming.
Bonnar closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bonnar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hornsby.
Bonnar dodges the punch combination from Hornsby.
Hank Hornsby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bonnar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hornsby swivels and escapes.

Hornsby lands a left and a right that send Bonnar crashing to the mat, dazed. Hornsby thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hornsby looks to land a combination but Bonnar avoids it well.

Hornsby lands a big uppercut and Bonnar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bonnar looks OK. Hornsby waves Bonnar back to his feet!

Bonnar is rocked!
Bonnar leaves his chin hanging out and Hornsby seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Bonnar crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
