PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steve Murder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeno Tundag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murder has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murder misses with the combination.

Tundag throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Murder stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Tundag follows into mount!

Murder is rocked!
Murder is breathing heavily.
Tundag trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Murder is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Tundag wants to get back to his feet but Murder is holding on tight.
Tundag can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Murder is looking to escape.

Tundag looking to control but Murder is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Murder is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Tundag wants to stand but Tundag is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Tundag trying to control but Murder is having none of it.

Tundag get's back to his feet.
A combination from Murder does no damage.
Murder fails with an attempt to clinch.
Murder lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Tundag throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Murder has closed the distance and engaged Tundag in a clinch.

Murder breaks the clinch.
Tundag showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Murder.
Murder avoids the head kick by Tundag.
Murder lunges at Tundag with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tundag's hand.
Tundag tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Murder fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tundag works over Murder's head and body with a nice combination.
Murder throws a right and a left that Tundag avoids nicely.

A head kick lands from Tundag that sends Murder to the canvas. Murder tries to scramble back to his feet but Tundag brings him back down into side control.
Oh Murder is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Murder is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tundag asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Tundag decides to stand up, so the ref orders Murder to his feet.
