Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Archy Graf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonny Crusher is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Archy Graf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonny Crusher!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crusher throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Graf's waist but Graf gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Crusher off to one side.

Graf looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Graf thows a huge punch but Crusher dodges it nicely.
Graf controlling the pace.
Graf seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Crusher does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Crusher looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Crusher wants to improve his position but Graf is controlling well.
Graf is trying to control. Crusher wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Crusher tries to roll over but Graf keeps him under control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Crusher goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Graf changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crusher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Crusher regains half guard.
Crusher is not content to let Graf control the position.
Crusher is trying to get back to full guard.
Crusher looks gassed!
Graf throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Crusher wants to control but Graf is keeping busy.

Crusher is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Graf is staying active.

Graf is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Crusher doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Graf.
Graf wants to lay and pray for a moment but Crusher keeps working.
Crusher blocking the ground and pound attempt from Graf.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Crusher tries a head kick but it misses.
Graf pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Graf throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Crusher was covering up waiting for the punch and Graf finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Crusher preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Graf sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Crusher's guard.

Graf wants to work for an arm triangle but Crusher is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Graf is taking a breather. Crusher says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Graf is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Crusher is just riding it out for now. Graf eventually gives up the hold.
Graf content to control rather than advance.

Crusher is in trouble now - Graf has advanced to mount!
Crusher in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Graf punching from mount but Crusher doing a good job of avoiding damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Crusher defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Graf.
Crusher is looking to clinch but Graf is avoiding it.
Graf shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crusher pinned against the cage. Crusher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Archy Graf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Graf with that takedown attempt.

Crusher keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Graf shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crusher pinned against the cage. Crusher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Crusher is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Graf has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Graf throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Graf sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Crusher is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Graf is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Crusher has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crusher managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Graf.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Graf swings around for an armbar but Crusher sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Graf's guard.

Graf is looking for a triangle but Crusher pushes his legs off easily.

Graf is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Crusher is aware though and is defending well.
Crusher is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The strikes coming from Crusher are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Graf is looking to regain half guard here but Crusher keeps moving and retains side control.
Graf is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Crusher is thwarting Graf's attempts to control the position.
Graf is staying active underneath Crusher, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Graf drives through with a takedown into guard.
Crusher can't keep his opponent in guard - Graf advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Graf is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Graf has hold of Crusher's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Crusher manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
A nice elbow there by Graf.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Graf is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Crusher is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Crusher tries to buck Graf off but Graf is having none of it.

Crusher takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Crusher is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Crusher is trying to control Graf's posture but Graf avoids it.

Graf tries to move into full mount but can't pass Crusher's legs.
Graf has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Graf with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Crusher tries to hold on but Graf postures up.

Graf is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Crusher has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Crusher is looking to improve his position but Graf isn't that keen on the idea.

Graf working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Crusher looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Graf! Submission of the night perhaps?
