Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dutra connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Artica shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dutra but Dutra pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Some wild striking there from Dutra.
Dutra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Artica drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dutra wants to sweep here but Artica controlling him for the moment.
Artica controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Dutra tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dutra wants to stand but Artica is controlling the position.
Artica is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Dutra looking for a sweep. Not yet Dutra, not yet.

Dutra has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Artica can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dutra wants to hit a switch here but Artica passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Dutra there!

Artica is going olschool here, as he tries to force Dutra to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dutra shrugs it off.
Artica can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dutra is looking to escape.

Artica has control of Dutra's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dutra regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Artica has hold of Dutra's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dutra manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Artica tries to control but Dutra wriggling away.

Artica can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dutra is looking to escape.

Artica moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dutra has worked his arm free - good work by Dutra!
Artica looks gassed!
Dutra gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Artica is looking to take a break and control but Dutra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dutra wants to improve his position but Artica is controlling well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Artica maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dutra could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Artica has cracked it and Dutra is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Artica!
