Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oupa Nieminen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Lezema (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lezema comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Weird Al Yankovic - Fat song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Oupa Nieminen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nieminen misses with the combination.
Nieminen misses the shot to the body.
Lezema swats away the attempt to clinch by Nieminen.
Nieminen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Lezema digs a right hand underneath Nieminen's ribcage. Nieminen let out a lung full of air as it connected.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nieminen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Lezema lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
No joy there for Lezema, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lezema cracks Nieminen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nieminen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lezema moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nieminen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lezema.
Lezema connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nieminen. Nieminen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lezema darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lezema shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nieminen but Nieminen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lezema misses with a series of wild punches.
Lezema scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lezema misses with a two punch combination.
Nieminen slips a jab and a cross from Lezema.

Lezema tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nieminen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nieminen wants it to stay on the feet.
Oupa Nieminen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Lezema.

Nieminen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lezema wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lezema tries to clinch but Nieminen is having none of it.

Nieminen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lezema did well to prevent Nieminen getting side control.
Nieminen prevents Lezema from standing back up.
Nieminen winds up and cracks Lezema with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Nieminen uses his free foot to push down on Lezema's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lezema.
Lezema is desperately trying to improve his position but Nieminen has a good base and remains in mount.
Lezema is in a horrible position here. Nieminen smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Nieminen lands a big shot there that rocks Lezema but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
