Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nigel The Malkind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Malkind's entrance music is Reckoner. A fine choice. Nigel The Malkind could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Matt Silver's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Silver!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Malkind decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The Malkind is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The Malkind will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The Malkind has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silver takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The Malkind ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Silver throws a nice looking combination but The Malkind bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silver wants to clinch up but The Malkind keeps it at a distance.

The Malkind rushes Silver and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Silver's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The Malkind looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silver!
Silver is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Silver is bucking up trying to escape but The Malkind cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Matt Silver's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Matt Silver's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
