The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jessifer is looking to clinch but machine is avoiding it.
machine lands a really nice looking cross but Jessifer seems unphased.

It looks like Bobert Jessifer has been cut.
Jessifer lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
machine lands with a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
machine throws a right and a left that both miss.
machine darts in trying to clinch
and Jessifer counters with a leg kick.
machine throws a nice inside leg kick.
machine throws a body kick that misses.

and Jessifer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jessifer.
Jessifer fails to pull the fight into his guard.
machine prevents the takedown attempt.

machine throws a head kick but Jessifer moves out of range.

machine could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jessifer looks gassed!
machine scores with a one two! Jessifer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
machine thows a leg kick but Jessifer checks it

and Jessifer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in machine's guard.
machine bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jessifer's guard.

machine wants to control from the top but Jessifer keeps moving.
machine controlling from the top position.
machine trying to control the position from guard on top but Jessifer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
machine controls from within his opponent's guard.
machine stands and throws Jessifer's legs to the side, diving into side control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
machine has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Jessifer in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
machine tries to control but Jessifer wriggling away.
machine lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
machine putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
BOOM! machine connects with a massive shot to the dome!
machine is landing with some decent strikes but Jessifer is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
machine tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jessifer is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jessifer tries to hold on but machine postures up.

machine is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jessifer is surviving well by controlling machine's body position as best he can.
Jessifer is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jessifer is bucking up trying to escape but machine cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
machine scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jessifer?
machine trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Jessifer is trying to escape the mount.
machine scoring with strikes but Jessifer is staying in there.
Jessifer is in all sorts of trouble here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

machine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jessifer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jessifer shoots in but no luck this time.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jessifer.
Horrible takedown by Jessifer or perhaps it was just good defense by machine which made him look bad.

Jessifer tries to keep at a distance but machine has taken the fight into the clinch.

machine jumps into guard, dragging Jessifer to the mat.
Jessifer stops machine from standing up.
machine keeping full guard, as Jessifer tries to pass.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
machine manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jessifer manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
machine is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

machine thows a big elbow that misses.
Jessifer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
machine lands a couple of digs.
machine wants to control from the top but Jessifer keeps moving.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells machine's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

machine keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jessifer's head.
machine has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
machine wants to stand but Jessifer has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jessifer looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
machine working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
machine postures up in Jessifer's guard and throws a big left but Jessifer blocks it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
machine stuffs the takedown attempt from Jessifer. Jessifer gets slowly back to his feet.
war machine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobert Jessifer.
Jessifer fails to land the takedown.
Some bone on bone action there as Jessifer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jessifer missing with a left hand there. machine was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jessifer tries to clinch up.

Jessifer clinches up against the cage.
Jessifer gets underhooks to prevent machine's takedown attempt.
Jessifer wants to break the clinch but can't.
machine goes for a takedown attempt but Jessifer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jessifer swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Jessifer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jessifer scoring with strikes but machine is staying in there.
Jessifer looking to control but machine is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
machine can't escape the position.
machine tries to control Jessifer's body but Jessifer pushes him off. machine squirms to his side and now Jessifer has his back!
Jessifer tries to get the hooks in deep but machine pushed the leg off.
machine trying to control the hands but Jessifer won't let him.

Jessifer is not going to allow machine to sit and survive in this position.
Jessifer is hanging on to machine's back as he tries to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jessifer is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! machine is tapping out! This one is all over!
