The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
potbelly tries to score a power double leg takedown but Malone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten potbelly somewhat.
potbelly avoids the head kick by Malone.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Malone, as that shot connected.
potbelly fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Malone throws a front kick that sends potbelly stumbling back into the cage.

Malone lands a left and a right that send potbelly crashing to the mat, dazed. Malone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like tubby potbelly has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Malone feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to potbelly's calf.
potbelly is still on wobbly legs! Can Malone finish him?
Malone throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
potbelly seems to have recovered his senses.
Malone lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in potbelly - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Malone!
