With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Penn!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mir drops Penn with a beautiful combination! Penn stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mir is looking for the KO!

Penn is rocked!

It looks like George Penn has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mir throws a sloppy head kick and Penn moves out of range easily.
Penn is still on wobbly legs! Can Mir finish him?
Penn misses with a takedown attempt - Mir sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Penn seems to have recovered his senses.
Mir tried to score with a low kick but Penn checks it.
Penn wants to clinch.
Mir really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nice takedown defense from Mir. No joy for Penn on that attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Dim Mir is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A shot to de liver by Mir. Beautiful body shot.
Penn looks gassed!
Penn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mir sprawls well. Mir wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Penn gets slowly back to his feet.
Dim Mir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Penn.
Mir swings away with a leg kick that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Mir drops Penn with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Penn looks back up at him and smiles so Mir waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mir throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A jab from Mir finds it's way through Penn's defenses.

That has opened up George Penn's cut even more.
Mir sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Penn's defenses. It connects perfectly with Penn's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
