Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rico Pfeifer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sir Reginald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sir Reginald told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pfeifer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reginald sprawls well initially but Pfeifer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Pfeifer is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Pfeifer is looking to take a break and control but Reginald is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Pfeifer looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Reginald is trying to stand up here but Pfeifer is controlling him well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reginald can do anything to dispel that myth.
Reginald is refusing to be controlled, as Pfeifer sits in half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Reginald tries to bum rush Pfeifer with a series of wild strikes but Pfeifer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pfeifer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reginald sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Reginald changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pfeifer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pfeifer tries to buck Reginald off but Reginald is having none of it.
Reginald fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Reginald in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Reginald has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
A punch combination from Reginald misses.
A jab from Reginald finds it's way through Pfeifer's defenses.
Reginald fails to land with a series of punches.
Reginald slaps away a takedown attempt from Pfeifer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Reginald cracks a nice hook into Pfeifer's ribs.
Reginald throws a nice looking combination but Pfeifer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pfeifer dodges the punch combination from Reginald.
Reginald cracks Pfeifer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sir Reginald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pfeifer takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Reginald swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pfeifer.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rico Pfeifer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pfeifer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reginald tries to avoid it but Pfeifer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reginald to the ground. Reginald escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pfeifer is breathing heavily.
Reginald drops Pfeifer with a beautiful combination! Pfeifer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Reginald is looking for the KO!
Pfeifer is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reginald scores with a hook to the body. Pfeifer takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Oh Pfeifer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
