PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Nobre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turner comes to the cage accompanied by Oh Lets Do it by waka flocka flame. Nobre has chosen Kanye West ft. Jamie Foxx- Gold Digger as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobre fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Nobre misses with a takedown attempt

and Turner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nobre's guard now.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Nobre shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Turner manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nobre seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Turner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nobre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turner has managed to get both his arms back between Nobre's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Nobre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Turner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Nobre has momentary wrist control but Turner slips an elbow through the middle.

Turner has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Nobre to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Turner is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Nobre pulls down on the head and he's put Turner to sleep! This one is all over!
