Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BCEM CACATb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CACATb changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but CACATb manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

CACATb closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones did well to prevent CACATb getting side control.
CACATb tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

CACATb is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.
CACATb wants to free his trapped foot but Jones is holding on for dear life with his legs.

CACATb tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jones has hold of one of CACATb's legs. CACATb is fighting the takedown attempt but Jones gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

CACATb throws and elbow that misses. Jones uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in CACATb's guard. Nice move by Jones!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

CACATb is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jones wants to control the pace but CACATb is squirming around nicely.
CACATb is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Jones fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

CACATb is bucking up trying to escape but Jones cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
