Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Gionet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gionet comes into the arena with "Your Going Down" by Sick Puppies blaring out of the sound system. Kennedy has chosen MegaDeth - Symphony of Destruction as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Gionet ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gionet no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Gionet escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kennedy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gionet had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kennedy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gionet Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kennedy's back instead.
