Luutch kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is job2 do - doo doo doo. Warren has chosen Joe Warren Entrance Theme as his entrance music. Larry Luutch has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luutch gets caught flat footed, as Warren shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Warren trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Luutch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Luutch throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Luutch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Warren won't allow Luutch to sweep him here.
Warren controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Warren pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Luutch is keeping the position for now.
Luutch is trying to control the position but Warren postures up.
Warren must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Warren drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Luutch manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Warren has Luutch in his guard.
Luutch wants to pass the guard but Warren is keeping the position.
Warren really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Luutch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Luutch thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Luutch stops Warren from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Warren controls Luutch momentarily but Luutch frees himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Warren is looking to stand up but Luutch isn't so interested in that idea.

Luutch thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Warren utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Warren pulls Luutch in close to his closed guard and prevents Luutch from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Warren blocks a head kick by Luutch.
Luutch throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Warren's head.
Warren throws a combination. Luutch tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Larry Luutch has been cut.
Luutch is breathing heavily.
Warren lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Luutch can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Warren and Luutch drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Warren.
