The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hinton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hardy.
Hinton jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hinton misses with a combination
and Hardy counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hinton throws a series of strikes that have Hardy backpedaling.

It looks like Cain Hardy has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hinton cracks Hardy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hardy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hinton finish him?
Hinton misses with a looping left.
Hardy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hinton was well out of range. Poor timing from Hardy.
Hinton is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Hardy hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
